Job title: Barista and Beekeeping Supply Store Associate

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Barista and Beekeeping Supply Store Associate.

Job Summary: As a Barista and Store Associate, you will split your time between crafting high-quality coffee beverages and assisting customers with their beekeeping supply needs. This dual role requires excellent customer service skills, a passion for learning about beekeeping, and the ability to handle various store operations. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service in both areas while supporting the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Barista Duties:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items to customers with a focus on quality and consistency.
Provide friendly and efficient customer service, including taking orders, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the coffee station, equipment, and seating area.
Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately and efficiently.
Uphold company standards for beverage presentation and customer interaction.

Beekeeping Supply Store Duties (training will be provided):

Assist customers in selecting beekeeping supplies and equipment, providing knowledgeable recommendations and support.
Process and fulfill orders, including packaging and shipping beekeeping products.
Maintain inventory levels, restock items as needed, and ensure the store is organized and well-presented.
Learn and stay informed about beekeeping products and industry trends to better assist customers.
Handle customer inquiries and provide support for both in-store and online orders.

Store Operations:

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of both the coffee shop and beekeeping supply store.
Assist with social media updates and promotions related to both the coffee shop and beekeeping supply store.

Qualifications:

Passion for coffee and beekeeping; willingness to learn about beekeeping and its products.
Previous experience in a customer service or barista role required.
Experience in beekeeping is proffered but not required
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks related to store operations and inventory management.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
Basic proficiency in social media platforms and an interest in contributing to our online presence.
