Originating from North Carolina, USA, Bee & Comb aims to reach everyday citizens all over the country through its online platform, equipping them with the necessary resources to become better beekeepers and empowering commercial beekeepers to grow their businesses with the high-quality beekeeping supplies available online.
Having worked as a national and international expert in beekeeping for 16 years and serving in several research positions, Karén has launched his business in beekeeping to support honey bee conservation. Dr. Karén Avetisyan has extensive experience both in science and industry by working for “Multi Agro” Scientific and Production Center as Head of the Honey Bee Selection and Breeding Department, Vice General Director of Science in Apiculture. Working with the Untied Nations, USAID, Heifer International, the Austrian Development Agency, the International Fund for Agricultural Development, European Union and UMCOR, and as the Director of several research programs Dr. Karén Avetisyan’s main concern is the welfare of honey bees and development of beekeeping, so he is constantly trying to improve the understanding of how we live to help both honey bees and humans live harmoniously together.
Through his all-inclusive platform, Bee & Comb, Dr. Karén intended to supply beekeepers with cost-effective, high-quality beekeeping supplies, equipment, guides, and courses.
